What Is Actimune?
Actimune is an
all-natural feed supplement formulated by equine nutritionists
and veterinarians. It is a unique combination of highly
effective natural ingredients, developed through extensive
research and production technology, utilizing patented
processes and ingredients.
Actimune has been designed to maximize the healthy function of
three key systems within the horse. Actimune is a very
palatable apple-flavored powdered product, which is fed in
small quantities [28gms (1oz) to 56gms (2oz) per day] with
normal feed.
What does Actimune do?
Actimune can help to maintain
a healthy immune system, which in turn helps to keep the whole horse
healthy. Actimune may assist in maintaining the natural efficiency of
the digestive system, thus allowing the horse to make the best use of
its feed, which helps it to perform to its maximum potential.
Actimune addresses the food requirements of the healthy, intestinal
microbes. An additional benefit of the product is that it helps to
neutralize unwanted substances, which then pass from the animal in a
harmless state.
Actimune may help to stimulate the horse's own natural production of red
blood cells to maintain the healthy oxygen-carrying capacity of the
blood.
What is in Actimune?
-
Actimune contains a natural
protein ingredient, which has been processed so that it can contribute
to maintaining the effectiveness of the immune system.
-
Actimune contains dehydrated
organic compounds produced by a patented fermentation process. These
special compounds are unique to Actimune. They not only help to
maintain a healthy immune system, but also aid digestion and the
production of red blood cells.
-
Actimune contains
equine-specific yeast. Research has shown that if active yeast cells
are included in equine feeding program's horses are better able to
maintain their normal healthy appetite during periods of stress e.g.
during and after traveling or after competition.
-
Actimune contains a unique
and patented microbial sugar to provide an instant energy source for
beneficial microbes in the intestinal tract and helps them maintain a
healthy gut.
-
Actimune contains lactose,
which provides an additional source of protein and energy for the
beneficial bacteria in the intestinal tract.
-
Actimune contains trace
amounts of vitamins and minerals to the extent that they are required
for the proper function of the product. Actimune is not intended as a
vitamin and mineral supplement.

Testimonials
Chris W
Gilbert, DVM Ohio
"The thing that encourages me about Actimune is that all my clients who
start feeding Actimune keep coming back to order more." "Almost all the
horses I have given it to have improved blood pictures." "At one stable,
after trying Actimune on one horse, they have put all of them on it."
"These horses with chronic lungs are clearing up. It usually takes a
month or so at a feeding rate of 1 oz to 1 1/2 oz per day." "I put a
snotty nosed horse on it at a rate of 1 oz twice a day and he cleared up
in three days."
"I have got
several horses that never finished better than fifth. After being on
Actimune for about a month, all were on the board (one that came in
first, one finished third and the rest all finished second)."
Dr
Jean Lamb, DVM Midway, Kentucky
"I feed
Actimune to thoroughbred foals and yearlings under my care as well as my
own competition horses. In all cases I have seen how Actimune, by
maximizing the effectiveness of the immune system, enables horses to
resist infection.
Actimune also has some important side benefits, these include:
maintaining appetite under high stress conditions like traveling,
competing, or change of environment, reduction in the incidence of
colic’s, improved hair coat and hoof condition.
I would recommend Actimune to anyone wanting to maximize a horse's
ability to keep itself healthy without resorting to the use of
prescription drugs".
Cheverly Park Stud New Market, United Kingdom
"We have
fed Actimune to a selected number of our foals and yearlings over the
past 12 months and early indications are that Actimune does support
their immune system, giving these individuals a no- ticeably better
defense against viral attack" |
